Partners We Work With

John Lynch
John Lynch
Director

John founded TLG in 2011, bringing with him over a decade of experience from a specialist engineering, rail, and oil & gas recruitment group. Starting his career as a Resourcer, John progressed through the business to Senior Consultant, building a strong reputation for delivering complex projects and developing trusted, long-term client relationships.

Known for his hands-on approach, John takes pride in truly understanding both clients and candidates, allowing him to consistently deliver tailored recruitment solutions. His commitment to first-class service has led to long-standing partnerships across the industry, many of which have grown into enduring professional friendships.

Outside of work, John enjoys carving up the ski slopes (when he’s not in the bar) and is a passionate rugby fan, regularly following Harlequins and the game in all its forms.

Kyran Davies
Director

Kyran is a Director at TLG with over ten years of experience in recruitment within the building services and construction sectors. I specialise in delivering practical, effective hiring solutions for clients across the UK and Europe.

My role focuses on client strategy, commercial responsibility, and day-to-day operational leadership. I work closely with clients to understand their workforce needs across operations, commercial functions, design, and labour, helping them build the right teams to deliver successful projects.

Prior to my current position, I held senior leadership roles within established recruitment businesses, including responsibility for the day-to-day management of a Building Services division. In these roles, I led client engagement strategies, attended senior operational meetings, and maintained full commercial accountability while managing key accounts across multiple regions in the UK & Europe.

I have worked with a wide range of organisations, from specialist SME’s to multinational blue-chip companies, and have supported recruitment on many high-profile developments. I am known for my straightforward approach, strong market knowledge, and focus on building long-term working relationships based on trust and results.

Charlie is a Recruitment Consultant with six years’ experience supporting clients and candidates across the industry. Known for his proactive approach and strong relationship-building skills, Charlie prides himself on delivering reliable recruitment solutions while maintaining a high level of service throughout the process.

Outside of work, he is an avid supporter of Chelsea Football Club, rarely missing a match and always ready to debate the weekend’s result.

Elliot began his recruitment career in 2020 as an apprentice, building a strong foundation in the industry before gaining further experience with established construction recruiters. He now specialise in Blue Collar M&E recruitment at TLG, working with clients and candidates across the UK to deliver reliable, high-quality staffing solutions. Outside of work, Elliot is a QPR season ticket holder and a passionate supporter of the club.

Team Leader

Jess joined TLG in 2020 as a Resourcer and quickly progressed to Team Leader of the Rail & Engineering team. Known as the heart of the business, Jess is passionate about people and relationship-building, combining strong communication skills with a genuinely compassionate approach. She sees recruitment as matchmaking rather than a transaction, taking pride in connecting clients and contractors in a way that works for everyone. Outside of work, Jess enjoys good wine (lots of), dancing, and a nostalgic night out.

Dan brings over 12 years’ experience in White Collar M&E recruitment, partnering with M&E contractors, main contractors, and consultancies across the UK. He recruits across both operational and commercial disciplines, from supervisors through to director-level appointments, including estimators, quantity surveyors, and procurement professionals. Dan is known for delivering high-quality, dependable talent solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

Tony brings over 26 years of recruitment experience, specialising across the civils, mechanical, electrical, and industrial sectors. Throughout his career, he has successfully supported major infrastructure and engineering programmes, including National Grid Substations, Renewable Energy, Battery Storage, Data Centres, Water, Gas, and Rail projects.

Tony has a proven track record of working with organisations of all sizes, from SMEs to blue-chip clients, delivering high-quality contingency labour solutions tailored to each client’s operational needs. His experience spans a broad range of functions, supplying talent across Operations, Commercial, Health & Safety, and skilled trades, often supporting critical, time-sensitive projects.

Known for his pragmatic, solutions-focused approach, Tony builds strong, long-term relationships by gaining a deep understanding of client requirements and project environments. His industry knowledge, combined with a commitment to service excellence, enables him to consistently deliver reliable and compliant workforce solutions across complex and highly regulated sectors.

Finance Director
Lauren joined The TLG Group in July 2025 as Finance Director, where she is leading the development of TLG Pay: our in-house payroll solution launched in line with the new off-payroll legislation being introduced by the government in April 2026.
Prior to joining the business, Lauren spent 10 years as MD of her own accountancy practice, specialising in SMEs. She has also worked internationally for a listed company as part of its senior finance team. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys travelling, is an avid walker, and enjoys climbing Munros.

Payroll Manager

Chris brings over 23 years’ experience in payroll, playing a pivotal role at TLG Pay as the backbone of day-to-day operations. Managing payroll, compliance, and audit processes for over 200 contractors, Chris ensures all queries are handled efficiently and accurately, providing reassurance to both clients and temporary workers alike.

Known for his meticulous approach and deep industry knowledge, Chris helps keep the business compliant, consistent, and reliable, always prioritising the needs of TLG Pay’s contractor workforce. With decades of experience behind him, clients and contractors can be confident they are in safe hands.

Outside of work, Chris is a keen Scouts Leader, has a love for animals, and enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children.
